A live emotional performance that focuses on the phenomenon of synesthesia as its central theme. The participant will be immersed in a different way of interpreting sound impulses. The stage invites the subject into a dance between traditional porcelain processes and digital interfaces, resulting in a unique piece created from two different technologies, blending the power of sensory perception.
The participant receives a self-made porcelain plate as a blank canvas, which is placed at the center of a machine designed for the rotation and translation of the plate. This movement is controlled through a programmed algorithm that is activated by an E-piano.
The person is faced with a dilemma: they can create a melody that will be translated into a visual landscape through small drops of porcelain which, together with the machine’s rotation and translation movements, will generate patterns unique to that melody. But, if the individual tries to manipulate the movements of the machine, their concentration will shift toward the visual result, and unconsciously they will be creating a unique melody.
